The Blog Resurrected

And so it begins (again).  As my darling four-month-old daughter sleeps soundly (for now) in her crib in the next room, I decided it best to resurrect this blog…for you, my readers (mainly my family, Evelyn, and my bible study--let's be real), but mostly for my daughter and for myself.

I'm now seventeen-and-a-half weeks into my role as a stay-at-home mom.  I no longer walk around my house braless and in my fuzzy white bathrobe all day long.  Most days I shower and brush my teeth.  My husband and I have found our way back to having normal, adult conversations over dinner I've found time to prepare, and most of the laundry's done (if not folded).

What got me from my last post (saved for posterity's sake and sentimental value) to this one is a long, complicated story.  It's one I'll share in pieces along the way, mostly for my daughter, so that she may in her later years see the woman she calls her mother make it through an infancy of her own…the infancy of motherhood.
